Every element at Unico is an expression of the story and personality of the duo in charge of this family-run restaurant, Head Chef Davide Lagomarsino and his Czech wife and co-owner, Karolína. Here, Davide stresses the special importance of showcasing the finest ingredients, sourced from his native Liguria, and therefore maintaining that authentic saltiness, handling them with a modern simplicity that underlines their flavors and Davide’s genuine passion for the cuisine of his homeland.  

Having lived for over 15 years in Australia, Chef Davide has infused new-world techniques and flavors to traditional Ligurian cuisine to elevate it into unique experiences that are cannot be replicated anywhere in Prague.

From contemporary meats and pastas, Davide’s appreciation of Ligurian customs in seafood shine at Unico Osteria. Everchanging and diverse in supply, based on direct sourcing from Liguria itself, Chef Davide showcases the freshness of his ingredients, always sympathetically treating them so as to remain true to his roots, and reflective of his decades of skill. He is always ready to surprise with inventive and unexpected twists on dishes and loves introducing his diners to new aspects and fusions of his craft.
